Japanese Marinated Eggs

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 cup sake

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients into a container and set aside.

  2. Boil eggs for 6.5 minutes for runny eggs. Whilst eggs are boiling, prepare a bowl with cold water and ice.

  3. Once eggs are boiled, immediately transfer into the ice cold water.

  4. Peel eggs and transfer into marinade container and leave in fridge for a few hours or over night.

  5. Enjoy as a snack or elevate your ramen game and add this next time you make ramen!
